Selection of material
Plug-In sidewall package adopts two method of forming.One is deep drawn mechanically with high production efficiency merits, suitable for bulk production.Second is brazed by base and frame.The leads are leading from the bottom of package ranking DIP or Quad-in-line suitable for plug in assembly.Usually it used in thin and thick flim Hybrid Integrated Circuits.
*Package and pins adopt kovar alloy material and good high reliability.
*Cap sealing method adopts reliable parallel sealing technology.
*The height of cavity and diameter of pin and length should be determined by customers.
*The layout of pin is cyclinder and straight ,the bonding shape is cyclinder or nailhead determined by customers’choice
*The ranking of pin adopts DIP or Quad-in-line and design per customers’ needs.
*The ground pin of package is determined by customer.
*Lid is designed fitted the customers’ needs per the appearance of package.
*Customer choose package fully plating Au or lead selective plating Au according to customers’needs.
*All indexes should be meet requirement of GJB548.
Structure of product
1.One-piece deep drawn structure
It is the most common structure high efficiency lower cost
2.One-piece CNC milling machinery structure
The structure could guarantee the flatness of structure and good roughness but low efficiency of material usage for product and high price.
3.Separate bodies brazing structure
Opto-electronic product should braze the deep drawn cavity and tube into component.

Selection of material for mode
①Due to graphite of tooling should temperature resistance,small CTE,donot immerse both glass insulators and metal ,easy to fabricate,the graphite material should be high pure graphite.
②The selection for structure of mode:there are two forms for Plug-In sidewall product :Reverse mode and formal mold.It can be used flexibly per structure of products.
③The design principle of reverse mold adopts reverse structure to guarantee the height of bonding for inner leads while the Plug-In sidewall product is simpler only with inner and outer position block.
